Last week as you may or may not know Reggie said a big game would be coming for gamers this winter. Is it Kid Icarus? Well, probably not, but it is definitely coming ALSO. Today Reggie confirmed while talking about the mystery game to IGN:

"The game could be Kid Icarus, you guys already know it exists, but it could not be."

So Dragoon's Lair has now been running for 5 years (the forums anyways, and the site part at least 3, albeit on a few different hosts). I would like to thank everyone who has stuck around, as well as the people who left and then came back, and even the people who are pretty new to the site for coming and making DL what it is day after day. The site has gone through many transformations, what with originally being focused on a TCG, then becoming an online RPG, and now mainly focusing on discussion of movies and video games. I am happy that there are still a good number who have been here since day 1 and withstood the changes with me. I hope we last another 5 years as well, and in the next 5 years I can see great things happening. (Look forward to ToT hopefully)

Also, thanks to all who came out this past weekend to the Brawl Tournament, it was a great success and congrats to Yumil on winning 1st place! I hope I am able to do a similar tournament again in the future (though not too soon).

As a side note, the japanese version has still gone gold. If any additional changes are made it will be exclusive to the American version. That being said, I doubt they'd do that and thus this delay has pretty much no reason.

Finally a new character has been revealed for the next Smash Bros. Installment. It is none other than Captain Olimar, along with his Pikmin. I'm pretty interested in playing this one myself.

Well, today it was confirmed that Kirby's nemesis Dedede is appearing in Brawl, and not only appearing, but will be playable! I personally can't wait to try the fat ol' penguin.
